For utilities that have difficulty removing a tank from service for routine inspections, an alternative to the traditional drained and washed out tank inspection method is an in service inspection by a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV).  Dixon’s Video Ray ROV provides clear color video of interior conditions, allowing tank owners to detect coating and structural deterioration with a minimum of service disruption.  As with all Dixon tank inspections, the ROV report provides a comprehensive assessment of the structural, coating, health and safety conditions of the tank.
