Rehabilitation Projects

How It Works

Projects begin with a regulatory maintenance inspection followed by design, coordination, and implementation for tank rehabilitation. We are here to assist every step of the way.

Regulatory Maintenance Inspections

DIXON provides an initial tank inspection to assess the coating’s condition along with the tank’s appurtenances and provides a comprehensive report for recommended work to be completed.

Design

Design coordination is essential for ensuring that all aspects of a project come together seamlessly. A well-coordinated design strategy facilitates communication, maintains consistency, and ensures that all parts of the project work together.

Bidding & Contract Documents

DIXON assists with the advertising and bidding process, provides recommendations, prepares the contract documents, and verifies signatures all to make the process easier for Owners.

Weld Inspections

DIXON inspects every repair and installation for visible defects, surface finish, functionality, and any variances from field drawings or project specifications.

Coating Inspections

DIXON evaluates the contractor’s performance using the most recent inspection tools and methods to maximize the coating system’s long-term efficacy.

Warranty Inspections

Water tank warranty inspections involve ensuring the tank is in optimal condition one year after the coating application, addressing potential issues before they can progress, and maintaining compliance with the warranty terms.
